Not to be bound by antiquity alone and for those who wish to choose the Buddha’s renowned and practical middle-path between old and new, Transitional rugs are a happy mixture of then and now (traditional and contemporary/modern rugs). They are generally used as informal rugs and usually have a not-so-elaborate to simple patterns. They are made using wool, viscose and other fibers like polypropylene, acrylic, nylon etc. The use of these fibers (sometimes in combination with one or more) gives added texture, look and comfortable feel to these rugs.
